Jesse has worked with the award-winning rural communications company Seftons over the past decade as a contracted senior writer, strategist and researcher. Seftons is one of Australia’s most experienced rural and regional marketing communication consultancies.

With Seftons, Jesse has delivered projects for clients including the Department of Agriculture and Water Resources, the Murray Darling Basin Authority, the Department of Environment Water Heritage and the Arts, the Council of Rural Research and Development Corporations, the Rural Industries Research and Development Corporation, the National Farmers’ Federation, Grain & Graze, and many others.

Writing a collective response to the Agricultural Competitiveness White Paper on behalf of the rural research and development corporations.

Researching and writing The Blueprint for Australian Agriculture on behalf of the National Farmers’ Federation after a 12 month consultation with 4000 participants.

Evaluating and writing the report on the Murray Darling Basin’s consultation on sustainable diversion limits during formation of the Basin Plan.

Evaluating and writing the report on the Australian Government’s consultation on the draft National Biodiversity Strategy.
